摘要：

 For each positive integer  m , we exhibit a family of  2m -modal maps of the circle, depending on finitely many parameters, which has the property that any continuous  2m -modal map of the circle is semi-conjugate to one map in that family. This semi-conjugacy can fail to be a conjugacy only on sets where the dynamics is well understood.
