摘要：The ideal approximation theory for exact categories is not only a generalization of the classical approximation theory, but also, in my opinion, is a initial step of the classical theory. This theory has produced several interesting applications, and has been generalized to different contexts by different authors. In this talk, I will give an overview on ideal approximation theory, including its basic ideas, applications, and generalizations.

个人介绍：扶先辉，东北师范大学数学与统计学院副院长，教授，博士生导师，研究方向为同调代数与K-理论。研究论文发表于Adv. Math.，Proc. Lond. Math. Soc.，J. Algebra，J. Pure Appl. Algebra等权威数学杂志。主持国家自然科学基金项目4项。
